EXCALIBUR= Explore, create, analyze, learn, iterate, break, understand, redesign. This session will outline an innovative approach to STEAM Education that teachers can adopt, redesign, or simply select certain pieces, to use in their classrooms right away! Students in  EXCALIBUR will experience hands-on, project-based learning as they determine their own direction within the agile course framework.  This will be a chance to explore what STEAM really has to offer in terms of career paths beyond programming or engineering. Animators, artists, musicians, sound engineers, creative writers, historians, web designers, as well as the "business" roles of finance, quality inspection, branding, and marketing, are all in great demand in today's workforce.  EXCALIBUR frames the design process while developing these skills ---all within the context of video game production and fun!
