Choices and their repercussions are central to a select group of narrative role-playing games. This talk will focus on Undertale and other decision-based adventures in which each version not only yields cause-and-effect outcomes, but informs other routes. To gain the broadest capacity as a player, many attempts must be explored. Undertale options range from "Pacifist" to "Genocide," but the real learning opportunity is finding options for peaceful resolution to conflict.
