Several apps will be presented in this workshop, including Bloxels, Sketch Nation, and Hopscotch, to name a few. Several iOS applications, in addition to hands-on tools will be presented which can be utilized in tandem with iPads or tablets to create exciting and relevant learning experiences for students.Participants in this session will not only be exposed to the technologies (all apps are free), but will also have the opportunity to test them all: leaving the workshop with a solid understanding of how they can get these exciting technologies into their students' hands as soon as possible. As a middle school computer technology educator myself, I will provide an authentic summary and demonstration of how I am already using these technologies with my students.
