I am a Senior Faculty Program Director in the School of Graduate Studies at Excelsior University. For over a decade, I have overseen health sciences, healthcare administration and public administration programs. In addition to overseeing these programs, I also teach regularly at the graduate and undergraduate levels. A major emphasis in all that I do is to ensure equitable and accessible higher education for students of all abilities by leveraging the power of online learning and the unique attributes that non-traditional learners bring to their classrooms. A key focus has been on supporting new graduate students. Areas of expertise include case-based learning using evidence-based best practices and maximizing student engagement through innovative discussion strategies and co-teaching opportunities. I look forward to learning from and with people who share my passion for OERs and online learning!
